In this chapter, we review strongly pseudoconvex manifolds, the central object in the theory of functions of several complex variables. First we recall the definition of pseudoconvexity in Sect. 5.1, give a brief review of the facts about Stein manifolds and Stein spaces in Sect. 5.2, and then, in Sect. 5.3, introduce Eliashberg’s handlebody construction of Stein manifolds.

摘要

In this chapter, we review strongly pseudoconvex manifolds, the central object in the theory of functions of several complex variables.
