Aiming at the difficulty of reproducing the “V-shaped” intrusion of the pole side impact sled, a new type of the pole side impact sled system was introduced. Its working principle, performance parameters, test methods and application cases were systematically elaborated. In particular, the simulated door panel intrusion servo system can reproduce three points of intrusion at the same time and the three intrusion cylinders were independent of each other, which were very advanced. From test environment construction, test process, waveform optimization to application case, a complete test method and typical benchmarking experience were formed to help the development of the industry.
