Climate change and the failure to address its deleterious impacts can be considered an existential threat to humanity. Likewise, we can no longer live detached from cyberspace, which affects our societies and all aspects of our relations, including those with whom we have no direct relations. In this sense, life has become truly “global” because what happens in cyberspace can also affect anyone, anywhere, at any time in real life.
