While most societies have a sensitivity to individuals with disabilities, they may not altogether understand the numerous obstacles to learning and community that people with disabilities face. Within many educational systems, the administration has implemented inclusive education to address these concerns for disabled learners, but proper resources and training are limited. The global need for innovative digital technologies for this marginalized group of not only youth but also disabled adults, educators, and caregivers continues to grow. Although there may be limitations for these underserved learners, an online community with trained professionals and the right application of technology can reach even the most marginalized groups. The authors present global challenges to include the excluded populations.
