Based on Improved Water Drive Law CurvePrediction of Late Development Indicators for Ultra High Water Content

At present, water flooding in Daqing Oilfield is in the stage of ultra-high water cut development, and the distribution of oil and water is more complex. The oil and water flow pattern shows new flow characteristics. In response to the problem that the semi logarithmic relationship curve between the traditional oil-water phase permeability ratio and water saturation is no longer a linear relationship, leading to downward warping, and the traditional water drive law curve is no longer applicable in this development stage, the seepage characteristic parameters of this stage are integrated with traditional reservoir engineering theory for derivation, so that the A and C type water drive law curves retain their original form and add correction terms to explain the deviation of the A and C type water drive law curves from the straight line in the ultra-high water cut stage. The research results indicate that using the improved water drive law curve to predict indicators during the ultra-high water cut period and subsequent development stages has relatively small errors, significantly improved accuracy, and stronger applicability. The research results provide a basis for accurately predicting the trend of indicator changes, scientifically formulating oilfield production planning schemes, and timely adjusting development strategies.
