In order to overcome the shortcomings of the current conventional economic evaluation methods, such as cumbersome calculation process and many required parameters, combining with the current development status, and taking into full consideration of the influence of gas price and internal rate of return on the development benefits of different gas reservoirs, the establishment of a single-well economic evaluation model realizes rapid evaluation and optimization, and provides scientific and intuitive decision-making bases for evaluating and optimizing the reserve positions for gas reservoir capacity construction, optimizing the target selection, advancing and retreating from the block, and controlling the investment or reasonably allocating the production. It can provide scientific and intuitive decision-making basis. Meanwhile, as a new evaluation method, this method can also help to improve the working efficiency, and can be popularized in the evaluation of other resources.
