To address the challenges of characterisation difficulty and lengthy prediction periods for polymer flooding development indicators, a prediction method based on the normalised model approach was proposed. The oil production and water content variation curves, along with other development indicators, were sorted according to the principle of physical property classification in 9 Class II reservoir polymer flooding blocks in Daqing Placanticline. Subsequently, discretization and integration were carried out to obtain the normalization model for oil production ~ PV number and water content ~ PV number. The feature points were used to extract the model of increased oil production and decreased water content. The normalized and feature point models are utilized to predict the oil production and water content of potential blocks without polymer flooding. The normalized model method for developing the polymer flooding index in Class II reservoirs of Daqing Placanticline Oilfield was established and applied. The method has a short prediction period and a high prediction accuracy of 96.94%. The normalized model method's research idea and methodology can provide a prediction for Class II reservoirs in the Daqing Placanticline, as well as other blocks with similar physical properties and Class III reservoirs’ polymer flooding development index. It has a promising application prospect.

摘要
