Under the background of the increasingly complex international investment situation, there are two main problems faced by overseas oil and gas projects, including improving the investment efficiency of overseas projects and optimizing the economic output of overseas projects. At present, the domestic economic evaluation methods can not accurately evaluate the status quo of overseas project benefits. It is very important to establish an effective economic output evaluation model. In this paper, the key factors affecting the profit are screened, and the multi-dimensional benefit yield evaluation model and the classification method based on the change mode of benefit yield are established by comprehensive analysis and development trend analysis. This method is used to evaluate the overseas oil and gas projects of a certain oil and gas company, analyze the reasons for the investment differences of overseas projects, and provide effective suggestions for the management, operation, and investment optimization of Chinese overseas projects, to promote the high-quality development of Chinese oil company.
