Water invasion in gas wells will cause a significant decrease in gas well productivity, affecting the development performance of gas reservoirs. The determination and prediction of water invasion channels is an important aspect of dynamic analysis and prediction of water invasion gas reservoirs. The Dabei A gas field has submitted several billion cubic meters of proven reserves to the national authorities. One well in the eastern part of the block has been verified to have produced water, while six wells have abnormal chloride ions. Therefore, it is urgent to develop waterproof and water control measures for the Dabei A gas field. 摘要

It is particularly important to deepen the understanding of water invasion patterns in the Dabei A gas field and analyze water invasion channels. This article analyzes the overall characteristics of water invasion in the Dabei A gas reservoir, and characterizes the distribution characteristics of micro faults inside the gas reservoir for different water wells and chloride anomaly wells in different regions. At the same time, it analyzes the butt relationship and connectivity between the Dabei A gas reservoir and its adjacent fault blocks, determines the main direction of water inflow, and puts forward constructive suggestions for water control and waterproofing for the water control in the later stage of the reservoir. The research work is aimed at ensuring the sustainable and efficient development of the Dabei A gas field.
