Summary and Conclusion

This chapter provides a concise narration of the findings from previous chapters, aligning with the main objectives of the study. The focus is on presenting the current state and capacity of GCC to mobilize its local financial resources. This chapter is constituted to provide summaries of the study on measuring the capacity of GCC to mobilize its local financial resources effectively that has been explored in the previous chapters. In addition, this chapter suggested some policy measures to deal with the challenges to make the CC’s revenue bases sustainable to finance necessary development and service-oriented projects in this area. It includes an introduction, a summary of the findings, and recommendations for effective financial resource mobilization mechanism of City Corporation in Bangladesh.
