Tractional Macular Schisis in Proliferative Diabetic Retinopathy
摘要
Macular tractional retinal schisis (macular TRS) or tractional macular schisis (TMS) is a common type of macular elevation in PDR. It is characterized by bridging columnar tissues between the inner and outer retinal layers in the macular area (Imai et al., Am J Ophthalmol 132:81–84, 2001). Studies on the clinical manifestations and postoperative visual prognosis of macular TRS are limited. The clinical features, diverse patterns, and treatment results will be discussed in this chapter.
