Covid-19 posed significant challenges to many economies and caused issues for several businesses, including infrastructure, housing, building, and construction industry. This led to financial issues with supply and demand, making international supply networks more vulnerable to interruptions. The impact of this pandemic lingered on the New Zealand construction industry and its offsite sub-sector. Due to the relatively small scale of the offsite sub-sector in New Zealand and the geographic dispersion of industrial hubs, the offsite construction (OSC) supply chain is constrained. Following Covid-19, it faced challenges such as a lack of supplies, production interruption, and labour shortfall. These difficulties significantly impact the effectiveness of the supply chain. According to literature, the pandemic has caused sudden and sometimes irreversible changes that have disrupted almost 97% of businesses globally. Thus, a new field, supply chain resilience, emerged after the abrupt changes. It represents its capacity to tolerate unforeseen changes, adapt, and adjust to changes like Covid-19. The study aims to increase knowledge about the impact of Covid-19 on the supply chain of OSC and recommendations for the company’s performance for any disruption that happens again. For this purpose, a comprehensive review of its impact was carried out. A scientometric approach, including data analysis, that had already been published was utilised. In conclusion, the positive and negative impacts of it are illustrated. Positive: Better remote work and continuous production without disruption. Negative: Material supply limitations, manufacturing disruption, transportation delays, on-site installation workforce shortages, transport interruptions, and disruption of the supply chains.
