With the rapid development of Internet technology, online video sharing websites have risen rapidly. This platform adopts the system architecture based on HTML5 mode, and uses the communication mode to create a user-friendly online information exchange and dissemination platform. The system consists of front-end page design, back-end database management and user registration modules. Through the browser login interface, users can easily obtain the relevant data and store it to the server side. On the website, this paper briefly describes the specific content of various types of data, and even through video display, to provide a full range of services for the majority of users. Then this paper tests the website development model, the test results show that the browser loading speed is fast, the data transmission is accurate and reliable, and the delay response time is within the range of test requirements. The database connection is accurate, the performance is excellent, and it meets the relevant standards. Most of the time, the response time of the page is low, fluctuating between about 150–250 ms, indicating that the page response speed of the website is fast. Among them, the page response time at time point 5 and time point 7 is slightly longer, at 230 and 250 ms respectively. Page response times at time point 2 and time point 8 were shorter, at 150 and 190 ms, respectively. This shows that at these two points in time, the page loading speed of the website is fast, and the user can quickly obtain the required page content.
