The purpose of this study is to design subway station space by exploring the laws of urban development and user experience needs and integrating regional cultural elements. This paper examines the current development status and historical background of urban subway space construction, analyzes the design characteristics of regional cultural spaces in various subway stations in Xi'an and the construction direction of subway space in the development of urban characteristics, explores the characteristics of regional culture, and summarizes the necessity of reflecting regional culture in the interior decoration of subway station space.
