This chapter addresses the importance of sustainable consumption and production in the context of the Triple Bottom Line (TBL). The chapter starts with the supply chain management to highlight its importance in promoting sustainable consumption and production, and further explores the opportunities and challenges of different stakeholders in the supply chain. The chapter introduces the theoretical foundations of Multi Criteria Decision Making (MCDM), which provides an insightful methodological perspective for understanding the complexity of sustainable consumption and production.
