With the rising complexity of daily lives and aging population, forgetting to take medication on time has become a pressing issue. To tackle this, we have developed an intelligent medication recognition and the reminder system based on the Huawei Cloud Platform. This system comprises a hardware circuit module, including an STM32 microcontroller, sensor modules, RFID modules, and a WIFI communication module, as well as a software programming module built using Keil5 software. When operational, it utilizes a DHT11 sensor to monitor temperature and humidity inside the medicine box, and ESP8266-01 WIFI module and infrared sensors to detect medication removal. A passive buzzer prompts users to take medication, ensuring regularity. This low-cost, high-reliability system operates efficiently with low power consumption, simple operation, and minimal maintenance, meeting current societal demands.
