A BSS-Based Time-Polarization Algorithm for Frequency Shift Jamming Suppression

In order to suppress the false target generated by frequency shift jamming, a time-polarization suppression algorithm based on blind source separation is proposed. Firstly, the received signal models of time domain and polarization domain are developed, respectively. Through the union of the time domain and polarization domain, the single channel is expanded to four channels and time-polarization mixed matrix is deduced. Furthermore the jamming is separated from target echo signal by the joint approximate diagonalization algorithm (JADE). Finally, we assess the performance of the proposed algorithm through numerical simulations showing its capability to suppress mainlobe jamming.
