Optimizing UAV Coverage Area Through UAV Hovering Strategies
摘要
Efficiently maximizing the coverage area and delivering wireless access services to a broader user base represent critical challenges in the realm of UAV Communication. Given the intrinsic mobility of UAVs, we suggest a new strategy that involves deploying UAVs in hovering flight patterns to enable wireless down link access in a circular area. Our paper concentrates on finding a mediate data-rate required to hover a UAV with lesser power. By using rigorous simulation, we validate theoretical findings and set upmost and bottom constraints for medium data rate. These findings unequivocally demonstrate the scheme’s capacity to significantly enlarge the covering area relating to the circular region, rendering this particularly well-suited for users with lower transmission rate requirements while exhibiting a commendable insensitivity to access delay. This research underscores the potential of UAVs in enhancing wireless communication coverage and offers a promising solution for extending connectivity services to a wider user base.
