MDPROM: Multiple-Valued Data Storage Using Programmable Read Only Memory in DNA Computing

A branch of nanotech and an emerging method of computing is DNA computing which uses DNA, biochemistry, molecular theory, and molecular biology hardware, in place of conventional silicon-based technologies for computers. This system may potentially speed up massive data processing power as well as the collection of specifically chosen DNA strands whose combinations would use biomolecular manipulation to solve computing issues with storage capacity. The procedure for encrypting and decrypting binary data for transmission to and from synthetic different sequences or strands of DNA can potentially be used in employing DNA as a means of extreme data storage. Configurable memory PROM is a general-purpose logic memory chip that can be programmed only once, and the manufacturer or the end user may customize the storage device program in accordance with their particular requirements. The framework to develop a multiple valued DNA PROM (MDPROM) architecture is proposed in this research study applying suggested algorithms for ternary DNA logic operations.
