Healthcare technology has always been aimed at improving the quality of people’s lives. This study examines an innovation that could alter people’s expectations of healthcare. An essential part of this innovative project was the development of a hybrid bed and wheelchair system that can be adapted in hospitals to meet the mobility needs of disabled individuals. It began with an approach based on practicality and usability, consisting of key components like a solid bedstand and an extendable stretcher. Various parts of the product were carefully designed from a stability and usability perspective so that users may use it comfortably. Essentially, this system is controlled by mobile or switches as per the convenience of the user. The actuator system controls the auxiliary components of the hybrid chair, which features an adjustable backrest and transforms it into a wheelchair. It runs on efficient motors and requires less effort to operate. A complete examination of the entire design process is attempted in this research. It also emphasizes the health monitoring of the patients for the safety of the user. This combination of bed and wheelchair systems may restore the freedom of people with restricted mobility by providing them with more comfort and mobility options.
