The purpose of this article is to provide a basic analysis of the behavior of a distribution network when grid-connected photovoltaic (PV) systems are used. In recent years, Photovoltaic plants are gaining popularity swiftly and the penetration of grid-connected PV systems is accelerating, despite their high costs and low efficiency. The integration of PV power systems could have a major, potentially harmful impact on the system’s overall stability, power flow, and power quality. Photovoltaic generators (PVGs) have substantial impacts on the current power systems; depending on a variety of variables, such as the PVGs’ location, size, and inverter characteristics, these affects may be either positive or negative. The system’s transient analyses and eigenvalue are performed both with and without PVGs penetration, and the outcomes are then contrasted. The inquiry has been validated on a modified IEEE 14-bus system with photovoltaic (PV). The stability analysis is performed by power system analysis toolbox (PSAT) in the platform of MATLAB.

摘要
