This chapter introduces a novel screw insertion method for PiH assembly. By combining the screw motion strategy with conventional motion control, it achieves reduced axial frictional force and improves contact situations during the mating process. The effectiveness of this method is verified through point contact experiments and screw insertion experiments involving both interference-fit and clearance-fit PiH assemblies.
