This chapter starts with the concept, meaning, and objectives of healthy ageing, presenting a comprehensive picture of the current situation of the elderly health in China, the focus and development of healthy ageing policies at various stages, and its achievements; then it summarizes current problems and future directions of integrating health care and medical services as a solution; finally, it proposes suggestions for advancing the ageing health system in terms of policy, index system construction, social environment, and personnel education.
