This chapter reviews the development of China’s elderly care service system since 2000, summarizes main achievements in terms of the overall design framework, multi-disciplinary and cross-sectoral policies, reform of government functions, etc., and then analyzes the challenges from the demand side and supply side, and lastly gives suggestions on high-quality development of the elderly care service system.

摘要
