This chapter gives an overview of population ageing in China in a global context, then introduces China’s development and experience in international communication and cooperation, especially in theories and practices about active ageing and healthy ageing, and lastly summarizes Chinese characters and innovations in responding to population ageing, thus contributing Chinese insight and input to the world.
