This chapter identifies challenges and proposes recommendations for strategies to cope with challenges and existing problems in digital transformation and innovation in Chinese higher education, which contribute to the future practice of digital transformation and innovation in higher education institutions. It discusses the governance in systemic digital transformation and innovation in higher education in alignment with educational governance, sustainability governance, social impact governance, smart education governance, and social innovation governance.
