More than half of the offshore FPSOs are in single point mooring mode, and the production swivel is the core component of the single point turret mooring system, which has the function of medium transportation. The production swivel with precise structures and relatively harsh operating environments is a contradiction, which increases the difficulty of designing, manufacturing, and integrating assembly for production swivel. This article designs the structural form of single-in single-out hybrid production swivel, including the sealing and leakage recovery system. The key process technologies and product quality control inspection details in the manufacturing process of swivel were elaborated. Introduced the testing equipment, testing content, and precautions for producing swivel. Promote the research and engineering application of swivel for single point mooring system through relevant research work.
