With the rapid development of modern manufacturing industry, especially the rise of intelligent manufacturing, the three coupled flexible workshop scheduling sub-problem, which tends to be distributed factory distribution, machine selection and process sorting, has become a new research hotspot. According to the distributed flexible workshop scheduling problem (DFJSP), the DFJSP is described, and then the DFJSP with multiple optimization objectives, coding, global and local search strategies; second, the DFJSP results considering resource constraint, preventive maintenance and transportation time; finally, the existing literature is summarized and discussed in the research work of DFJSP.
