Pedagogies of transition illuminate tensions between academic learning and practical application, shifting the focus from innovation for its own sake to building meaningful connections with students’ personal and professional interests that can lead to transformative experiences. This codetta outlines various ways in which pedagogies of transition have been approached to advance knowledge and knowing, as well as developments in being and becoming. Through provocations, authentic learning tasks and designing spaces for critical analysis, we can develop pedagogical signatures that link ideas, practices and values.
