Microbial communities in nature generate a wide range of natural products that have important ecological and biotechnological applications. Medical circumstances have employed certain compounds as pharmaceuticals, and researchers have discovered their synthesis methods in a limited number of culture-grown microorganisms. Nevertheless, due to the lack of cultured microorganisms in nature, it remains a challenge to identify the synthetic pathways of these metabolites and track their hosts. There is still a lot to learn about mangrove wetlands’ microbial biosynthetic potential. In this chapter, we analyzed the enzymes and secondary metabolites found in the microbial populations of mangrove wetlands.

摘要
