Biosensors for Drug Molecule Analysis Using Voltammetry

This paper explores the technical challenges and limitations associated with voltammetric biosensors, which, despite their advantages, require optimization for enhanced efficiency and applicability. The long-term stability and durability of biorecognition elements, interference and selectivity issues, and the complexity of biological samples present significant hurdles. Future perspectives for improvement involve the development of new biorecognition elements, the application of nanotechnology and advanced materials, device miniaturization, integration with microfluidic systems, and the use of artificial intelligence for data analysis. By addressing these challenges, voltammetric biosensors can realize their full potential in clinical and industrial applications.
