The Role of Mountain Rural Destination Planning to Event Tourism: Tourism Planning and Ergonomic Approach

This chapter presents a novel approach to mountain and rural destination planning in the context of event tourism. The study aims to design and model mountain rural destinations based on the principles of tourism product planning and the ergonomic aspects of event tourism. To provide a comprehensive understanding of the mountain rural destination planning model in event tourism, we draw on a range of theories, concepts, and previous research. The primary objective of this study is to present a model that characterizes event tourism in mountain rural destinations, particularly about community-based tourism (CBT) and ergonomic factors. The findings of this study underscore the importance of incorporating ergonomic aspects and rules in the development of mountain rural destinations. The implications for event tourism in mountain rural destinations are clear: Tourism product planning with ergonomic approaches and CBT support is crucial for sustainable development. These insights have direct relevance for professionals and policymakers in the tourism industry.
