摘要
This research investigated the impact of traveling on mental health among various groups, including family members and employees. Sustainable tourism has a link to mental health. Ecological psychology, proposed by Roger Barker in the 1940–1970s, examines the effects of nature tourism on mental health, encompassing areas like mental development, healing, spirituality, and self-fulfillment. The research employed qualitative methods, including deep interviews with tourist who visited Bali, and quantitative analysis was conducted to be equipped with the Systematic Literature Review with bibliometric. The research findings demonstrate that tourists’ experiences and the memories they form during their visit influence their mental health. The resilience of tourism institutions has a positive association with the mental health of tourism actors. Memories gained from tourist trips contribute to the collective memory of specific tourist destinations. Perceptions of rural tourist destinations significantly influence memory formation. The reputation of tourist destinations influences tourist’ choices and consumption behaviors, with factors such as culinary offerings, accommodations, scenery, culture, recreation, and entertainment.
