Arak Bali, a traditional alcoholic beverage from Bali, has a captivating attraction that draws people to visit. Crafted through an age-old distillation process, Arak Bali has been integral to Balinese tradition for generations. This chapter delves into the unique qualities of Arak Bali from Tri Eka Buana Village in Sidemen, Karangasem Regency, which is currently developing into a tourism village with Arak Bali as its main pulling factor. The questions in this chapter are as follows: How does the production of Arak Bali relate to the community and their traditions? How does the presence of Arak Bali help develop a tourism village in Bali? This research was carried out using a literature review, which included a thorough examination of existing literature and academic papers; selective interviews with key informants, such as tourism village organizers, Arak Bali producers, and local community members; and field observations, which involved directly observing the village, Arak Bali production sites, and tourist activities. The key findings are that the production of Arak Bali is deeply intertwined with the local communities, traditions, and cultural heritage, and the presence of Arak Bali promotes the development of the tourism village in Tri Eka Buana village.
