LGBTQIA+ and Monotropism
摘要
Lesbian, Gay, Bi-sexual, Trans, Queer, Intersex, A-sexual, and others (LGBTQIA+) are all forms of either gender or sexuality identity. Intersex, though, which is a biological physiological disposition, implies in one individual lies some attributes of both male and female and their gender and sexuality can be anywhere along the gender and sexuality continuum. So, a person is born with both male and female biological traits, but these may not be initially recognized. This is not, of course, of their choosing and although it may be evident at birth, during adolescence or adulthood, individuals may choose to live as intersex individuals, or they may opt towards conforming their body to fit their most desired gender.
