This chapter examines the evolution of intelligent manufacturing, intelligent agriculture, intelligent healthcare, and intelligent education in contemporary society, along with their influence on urbanization. In the context of Industry 4.0Industry 4.0, intelligent manufacturing is transitioning from traditional mass production models to more customized and intelligent systems, thereby enhancing resource utilization efficiency and transforming production paradigms. China has fostered the advancement of smart manufacturing through its Made in China 2025 initiative, promoting high-quality development in this sector. In agriculture, particularly urban smart agriculture, fragmented spaces and cutting-edge technologies are utilized to boost productivity, streamline supply chains, and ensure product freshness. Smart healthcare leverages big data analysis, image recognition, and other advanced technologies to improve diagnostic accuracy, especially in elderly care, where smart home and IoT technologies provide enhanced security and health management for seniors. Intelligent education employs digital technology to refine teaching methodologies, addressing the challenge of balancing standardization with individualization, and offering new prospects for educational reform. The intelligent development across these sectors not only enhances production efficiency but also optimizes resource allocation, contributing to the sustainable development of society.
