This chapter explains the significance of Taizhou Innovation ParkTaizhou Innovation Park as a leading Industry 4.0Industry 4.0 demonstration city and outlines its strategic development framework. Situated in Huangyan District, Taizhou, Zhejiang Province, the park is committed to facilitating the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries through advanced technologies such as AI, big data, and the IoT. The park employs three core strategies—intelligent network applications, talent aggregation, and innovative ecosystem development—to address key challenges in industrial upgrading and environmental sustainability. With the support of a team led by academician Wu Zhiqiang from Tongji University, the park has formulated the “Yongningjiang Science and Technology Innovation Belt” initiative, aiming to become China’s premier Industry 4.0 demonstration city. By integrating intelligent spatial design, digital twin platforms, and smart park management systems, the park achieves dynamic monitoring and real-time updates. Additionally, it combines ecological restoration with the preservation of original industrial heritage, creating distinctive landscapes and functional areas that serve as a model for industrial upgrading and sustainable development.
