Hexagonal perovskite-related oxide Ba7Nb4MoO20-based materials have the intrinsically oxygen deficiency layer, and are dual ion conductors that exhibit high oxide ion conductivity and proton conductivity. In this thesis, by substitution for Ba7Nb4MoO20, I discovered new materials with even higher oxide-ion conductivity and dual-ion conductivity, and clarified the reasons that led to this.
