Metabolic syndrome (MetS) is a cluster of metabolic disorders conditions that increase the risk of cardiovascular disease and diabetes, such as obesity, hypertension, hyperglycemia, and hyperlipidemia. This study utilizes a series of sensors and analyzes the collected signals to monitor the risk of MetS. The techniques used include infrared thermal imaging analysis based on the HSV color space. The lesions revealed by the processed thermal images were basically consistent with the results of traditional detection methods such as CT and colonoscopy. This safe, portable, and non-invasive method can produce accurate results and locate sub-healthy areas in detail, aiding in the prevention and control of MetS. Additionally, the study employs 3D imaging of excreta, heart rate and blood oxygen sensor, electrocardiogram (ECG) sensor, and six-axis motion sensor to achieve MetS risk monitoring.
