Cutting Process in Machining Amorphous Materials
摘要
Amorphous materials (AM), which lack a long-range order typical of crystalline structures, presents unique challenges and opportunities in precision manufacturing. This chapter delves into the machining performance of amorphous materials, with a particular focus on SPDT and the mechanisms of surface generation as revealed through MD simulations. By exploring the machining performance, analyzing results, and leveraging advanced simulation techniques, it aims to enhance the understanding and optimization of machining practices for these unique materials, ultimately contributing to their broader application in high-precision industries.
