The patient was male, aged 14. His parents found that the patient’s bilateral upper limbs were unequal in length since childhood, and the left upper limb was shorter than the right upper limb. Because there are no obvious obstacles in the daily life of the patient and no significant influence on the motor function of the upper limbs, so parents did not pay attention to it. As the age increased, the parents found that the asymmetry of bilateral upper limb length became more obvious. Before the local hospital prepared to perform bone extension surgery on the left upper limb, the patient came to our department for further consultation. After investigation of medical history, we found that the patient was born with a dystocia, and the left upper limb was exposed first. The midwife pulled the left upper limb out of the birth canal.

摘要
