RNP AR APCH procedures make curved final approach tracks possible, giving new aspects to solve traffic problems in a high-density terminal airspace. In order to clear the way of implementing RNP AR established approach for parallel runways, this paper presented a safety analysis of operation system with RNP AR APCH procedure using FRAM model. Through the model established, risks in the system were identified and controls of these risks raised. The analysis was based on real world operation in Zhengzhou Airport, but the result of which widely applicable. This paper also gave a rough suggested RNP AR APCH procedure for Runway 12L in Zhengzhou. It should be specified that this paper was written more in an ATM perspective rather than in airlines and pilots’ perspective.
