Nanomaterials possess immense potential across various technological fields due to their exceptional properties, generating significant interest. In sectors such as automotive, electronics, construction, food packaging, and agriculture, nanofillers are effectively integrated into composite materials to enhance their performance. Industries are increasingly drawn to bio-nanocomposite materials, as scientific studies increasingly validate their properties and assess their suitability as beneficial additives with minimal negative environmental impact. The agricultural industry has experienced substantial advancements in recent decades, necessitating continuous technological updates to meet the growing global food demand. However, the majority of materials used in agriculture and related processes are non-biodegradable and less durable. Despite efforts to find biodegradable, eco-friendly, and sustainable alternatives, these materials often fall short in terms of their physical, chemical, mechanical, and optical properties compared to their traditional counterparts. Nanofillers offer a solution to these challenges by enabling the production of functional composites tailored to specific applications. By incorporating nanofillers, it becomes possible to overcome limitations and create materials with the desired properties. This chapter provides insights into the role of nanofillers in the agricultural industry, covering key aspects such as applications, synthesis methods, environmental impact, and limitations.

摘要
