Self-Assembly of Peptide to One-Dimensional Nanomaterials
摘要
Peptide is a type of green and environment-friendly biomacromolecule with both self-assembly and biomimetic functions. It has moderate and controllable self-assembly ability, good biocompatibility, amphoteric performance, and adjustable electrical properties and has attracted widespread attention in the fields of materials science, analytical science, biomedicine, environmental science, and many others. In this chapter, we present the design and synthesis of one-dimensional (1D) peptide nanomaterials, such as nanofibers, nanotubes, nanowires, and nanorods. In addition, the applications of self-assembled 1D peptide nanomaterials in corresponding fields are demonstrated and discussed.
