In this chapter, the structural design of the powerhouse at the hydropower station is discussed on the base of the previous chapter. Firstly, the structural composition of the main powerhouse and the types of loads on the structure are introduced, and the load transmission system of the powerhouse structure is summarized. In order to alleviate the influence of temperature and settlement on the safety of the powerhouse, it is necessary to set up structural joints and construction joints. Therefore, the construction methods of concrete pouring carried out in stages and blocks are introduced, and the important sealing structures are discussed.
