In this paper, we focus on the asymptotic stability and instability of solutions to the logarithmic wave equation with coefficients depending on both time and space. Such kind of models describe the propagation of waves through heterogeneous medium that age through time. By employing the energy method, we establish the uniqueness of the global weak solution. Moreover, we obtain the general decay and exponential growth of the energy with suitable initials.
