The natural language processing capabilities, natural human-like response, and extensive knowledge of various domains have led to using Generative AI (GenAI) in various domains. Few studies have explored the potential use of GenAI. This research addresses this knowledge gap. This paper explores the possible use of ChatGPT, one of the leading Gen AI tools for employee training and development. A 5-point Likert scale survey questionnaire was used to capture quantitative data from a sample of 225 respondents. Average Variance Extracted (AVE), Composite Reliability, and Cronbach’s alpha approach assess the constructs’ reliabilities and validities. P-value and R square (R2) value were used to test the relationship and strength between dependent and independent variables from the hypothesis formed as per the TAM model. The research contributes to the theory and practice of the application of generative AI in organizations.
