High sensitivity is the most prominent feature of AMS. Techniques for eliminating isobaric background, isotopic background and molecular background are the key techniques for improving the sensitivity in the AMS measurement. In this chapter, methods for removing various backgrounds are discussed and special methods for commonly used nuclides are also introduced.

摘要

High sensitivity is the most prominent feature of AMS.
