With the development of civil aviation industry and the increasingly fierce market competition environment, the requirement for the safety of civil aircraft continues to increase. Test pilots, as a crucial component in the aircraft design process, evaluate the safety of the aircraft’s flight control system from the perspective of usage, primarily focusing on three aspects: the reliability of the control system, the fault tolerance during flight, and the ease of manipulation of the aircraft. In order to support the development of the safety of the flight control system for China-made civil aircraft, this research mainly focuses on the three China-made civil aircraft fly-by-wire flight control systems. Firstly, this research introduces the design framework and then proceeds to evaluate and analyze the China-made civil aircraft fly-by-wire flight control systems from three aspects: redundancy design, flight envelope protection, and flight quality from the perspective of test pilots, this analysis provides designers with valuable insights. Finally, the research summarizes the future development direction of domestic civil aircraft flight control systems based on advanced foreign technologies.
