The surrounding marine ecology is impacted by offshore wind installations over their whole existence. These consequences include chemical and biological effects on the environment and marine life in addition to physical ones like noise and electromagnetic waves. As a result, this chapter explores the whole range of environmental impacts—physical, chemical, and biological—that offshore wind energy has to offer. Additionally, it presents innovative integrated models for the growth of offshore wind energy, including wave energy, marine ranching, hydrogen production and storage, and other power generation methods.

摘要

The surrounding marine ecology is impacted by offshore wind installations over their whole existence. These consequences include chemical and biological effects on the environment and marine life in addition to physical ones like noise and electromagnetic waves. As a result, this chapter explores the whole range of environmental impacts—physical, chemical, and biological—that offshore wind energy has to offer. Additionally, it presents innovative integrated models for the growth of offshore wind energy, including wave energy, marine ranching, hydrogen production and storage, and other power generation methods.
